“From the dispute about tastes – to the principles and criteria” Round table by Urban Forum Almaty

Urban Forum Almaty Roundtable will be held in May 25, which is designed to develop solutions for problems associated with the practice of making architectural and urban planning solutions in Almaty.

Local and foreign experts, government officials and business representatives will discuss the algorithm for making decisions about the city’s development and will offer their vision of how to overcome the opacity of these processes by taking into account the interests of local communities and assessing the impact of new projects on the existing historical and cultural context and social infrastructure.

Urban Forum Almaty aims to develop concrete recommendations that will make it possible to take quality urban planning solutions.

The roundtable is held by Urban Forum Almaty (UFA) in cooperation with British Council Kazakhstan with the support of the general partner – Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.
